What the app reads
Email Alarm uses Android's notification access to read the notifications posted by the email apps you choose (for example Gmail or Outlook). From each email notification it reads the sender's name, the sender's address when the email app provides it, the subject and the short preview of the message.
This information is compared, only on your device, against the rules you created, to decide whether to sound the alarm. The message preview is discarded right after that comparison. Notifications from apps you have not selected are ignored.
What the app stores
Your rules (a name, a sender and/or a keyword, and the alarm sound), which email apps to listen to, and a history of the last 20 emails the app detected: time, email app, sender, subject as shown in the notification (some email apps, like Outlook, include the first words of the message there), and whether it matched a rule. The history is there so you can check that the app is working; it keeps only the last 20 and you can clear it anytime from the app. All of this is stored on your device only. It is excluded from Android cloud backups, so it is never uploaded to Google Drive or any other service.
Subscription and payments
Email Alarm is a subscription: free for the first 7 days, then charged monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose, through Google Play until you cancel. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. The app never sees your card or payment details; it only receives from Google Play whether your subscription is active.
To do this, the app includes Google Play's billing library, which connects to Google and may send Google technical information about the purchase process. That information is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can cancel anytime in the Google Play app, under Payments & subscriptions.
What the app does not do
It never sends the content of your emails anywhere. It has no ads, no analytics of its own, no tracking and no user accounts. It does not read your mailbox or connect to your email account; it only sees the notifications that already appear on your phone. It does not share or sell data to anyone.
Permissions and why they are needed
Notification access — to detect when an email arrives. Show notifications — to display the alarm and its Stop button. Full-screen alarm — to show the alarm over the lock screen. Do Not Disturb access — so the alarm can ring while Do Not Disturb is on. Battery optimization exemption — so the system does not put the app to sleep and miss an email. Of these, only notification access is required, and you can revoke any of them at any time in your phone's settings.
Internet — granted automatically by Android when the app is installed. It is used only by Google Play's billing library, to check your subscription.
Deleting your data
You can delete any rule and clear the email history inside the app. Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your device.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly process their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Qué lee la app
Email Alarm usa el acceso a notificaciones de Android para leer las notificaciones que publican las apps de correo que elijas (por ejemplo Gmail u Outlook). De cada notificación de correo lee el nombre del remitente, su dirección cuando la app de correo la incluye, el asunto y el resumen breve del mensaje.
Esa información se compara, solo en tu dispositivo, con las reglas que creaste, para decidir si suena la alarma. El resumen del mensaje se descarta apenas se hace esa comparación. Las notificaciones de apps que no seleccionaste se ignoran.
Qué guarda la app
Tus reglas (un nombre, un remitente y/o una palabra clave, y el sonido de la alarma), qué apps de correo escuchar, y un historial de los últimos 20 correos que la app detectó: hora, app de correo, remitente, asunto tal como aparece en la notificación (algunas apps de correo, como Outlook, incluyen ahí las primeras palabras del mensaje) y si coincidió con alguna regla. El historial está para que puedas comprobar que la app funciona; guarda solo los últimos 20 y lo puedes borrar cuando quieras desde la app. Todo esto se guarda únicamente en tu dispositivo. Está excluido de las copias de seguridad en la nube de Android, así que nunca se sube a Google Drive ni a ningún otro servicio.
Suscripción y pagos
Email Alarm es una suscripción: gratis los primeros 7 días, y después se cobra cada mes o cada año, según el plan que elijas, a través de Google Play hasta que la canceles. Los pagos los maneja completamente Google Play. La app nunca ve tu tarjeta ni tus datos de pago: solo recibe de Google Play si tu suscripción está activa.
Para eso, la app incluye la librería de pagos de Google Play, que se conecta con Google y puede enviarle información técnica sobre el proceso de compra. Esa información la maneja Google según la Política de Privacidad de Google. Puedes cancelar cuando quieras desde la app de Google Play, en Pagos y suscripciones.
Qué no hace la app
Nunca envía el contenido de tus correos a ningún lado. No tiene publicidad, analíticas propias, rastreo ni cuentas de usuario. No lee tu casilla de correo ni se conecta a tu cuenta: solo ve las notificaciones que ya aparecen en tu teléfono. No comparte ni vende datos a nadie.
Permisos y para qué se usan
Acceso a notificaciones — para detectar cuándo llega un correo. Mostrar notificaciones — para mostrar la alarma y su botón Detener. Alarma a pantalla completa — para mostrar la alarma sobre la pantalla de bloqueo. Acceso a No Molestar — para que la alarma suene con No Molestar activado. Excepción de optimización de batería — para que el sistema no duerma la app y se pierda un correo. De estos, solo el acceso a notificaciones es obligatorio, y puedes revocar cualquiera en cualquier momento desde los ajustes del teléfono.
Internet — Android lo concede automáticamente al instalar la app. Lo usa solo la librería de pagos de Google Play, para verificar tu suscripción.
Borrar tus datos
Puedes borrar cualquier alarma y el historial de correos desde la app. Desinstalar la app borra todos sus datos de tu dispositivo.
Menores
La app no está dirigida a menores de 13 años y no procesa a sabiendas información de ellos.
Cambios
Si esta política cambia, la nueva versión se publicará en esta página con la fecha actualizada.
